Abatjour is a family owned business located in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California and is the lampshade production department of the Anderle Gallery since 1990. We manufacture mica lamp shades and unique lamps for individual customers and the professional trade.

For example, if you have a base and you would like to find a mica shade to complement it, we can either custom build a mica shade to your dimensions, or provide you with one from our list of pre-designed shades.

If you would like to buy a complete lamp, Abatjour offers beautiful objet d'art bases complemented with one of our mica shades. The objects used are collected from around the world by our art gallery. Each lampshade is individually hand crafted using the best quality of mica available. Mica gives a warm glowing translucence and is good for ambient light as well as task light. It is then finished with fabric woven trim. Lamps are created to provide functionality for lighting as well as aesthetic value for decoration.

Abatjour also has the experience and facility to design any number of lamps and shades.
